UPDATED: Covid-19 Response

Our Two Wild Hearts Documentary Wedding Photography Northern Ireland.jpg

First and foremost, I hope this message is reaching you and your family safe and well. Like me, I’m sure you’re entirely fed up with viruses, pandemics and lockdowns interfering with your wedding plans - I feel you. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone

These are strange and unprecedented times that we are all facing. My heart goes out to everyone affected by the disease and my thanks goes directly to all those serving on the front lines; the doctors and nurses, the health and social workers, the cleaners and the hospital porters but also to the brave people who have been tirelessly manning the checkouts in stores, stacking shelves and ensuring the public has everything they need to get through lockdown - with deepest sincerity and humility, thank you.

As a wedding photographer and small business owner, Covid-19 has had a devastating effect and has stopped me doing what I love - making timeless pictures of amazing couples who are celebrating their love for one another by tying the knot - weddings have been postponed or delayed, others cancelled and potential clients are delaying their bookings for 2021 and 2022.

While my business have been deeply affected by this pandemic, it goes without saying that my priority is ALWAYS the health, safety and security of my couples, their family and their friends. I would not and will never do anything that might in any way that may contradict this sentiment.

As lockdown rules are gradually being lifted and weddings are allowed to take place both outdoors and now indoors, I felt it important to update you all on my business as well as introduce you to some new updated terms and conditions for photographing weddings that are aimed at protecting you and those closest to you.

  1. I am OPEN FOR BUSINESS and taking bookings as we speak. With the relaxation of social distancing policies and procedures, as a wedding photographer, I am able to attend weddings and complete all professional duties.

  2. As a documentary wedding photographer, my style of photography is not in your face. This means that the style and quality of photographs that I make are not affected by the need to social distance.

  3. Any wedding or event that I attend, I engage in effective social distancing as per PHA and Government guidelines. I carry hand sanitiser and alcohol wipes in my bag and I will be regularly washing my hands and wiping down my photography gear throughout the day. Where it is required, I will also wear a mask and engage in any other means of social distancing within reason in order to ensure your health and safety.

Updated Terms and Conditions for Contracts of Service

  1. In the event of a public health crisis, I will strictly adhere to any regulations and guidance from the Government and PHA (Public Health Authority). Where mass gatherings (to include weddings and events) are prohibited or strongly advised against, I will strictly comply with the advice given by these agencies. Where guidance is in place that an event or gathering might pose a potential risk to health and public safety, I will not attend nor complete professional duties in any capacity

  2. In the event that a mass gathering (to include weddings and events) is prohibited by the Government or PHA, I will work tirelessly with my clients to rebook and reschedule these events. Where all reasonable actions having been taken yet rebooking is not possible due to conflicting schedules, my clients will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid (to include the initial deposit).

  3. Where a gathering (to include weddings and events) is cancelled by the client, as oppose to postponement or rescheduling, I will reserve the right to retain the initial deposit where deemed appropriate to do so with all additional monies being refunded. This decision will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and any/all mitigating circumstances will be taken into consideration.
