Antrim Castle Gardens Autumn Wedding
The last twelve months has been an incredibly difficult time for the majority of people; our lives have been stopped in their tracks and, in some cases, turned completely upside down. Now spare a thought for those who have put exorbitant amounts of time and effort into their wedding, only to be told that their dream day would only be allowed to be a shell of the day that they planned. Whats the only thing left to do? MAKE THE BEST OF IT
When Linda and Adam began putting plans in place for their dream wedding, little did they know that the world would be a very different place when they would come to tie the knot. Will it go ahead? Won’t go ahead? What will our wedding look like? These were just some of the questions that this wonderful couple had to contemplate on the run up to their special day. Throw in a venue that was unable to facilitate their day owing to COVID restrictions and you have the stuff of nightmares for a bride.
From the very first moment I met Linda and Adam, I couldn’t help but be inspired by their love and affection for one another, their infections smiles and their grace under enormous pressure. There are no two-ways about it; this last year has been incredibly challenging for wedding photographers and vendors alike and I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t have more than a few sleepless nights but the positivity I encountered in every call, email and consultation gave me hope that brighter days were ahead,
While it may not have been the occasion they dreamed of, Linda and Adam made the best of it and absolutely embodied the moniker “life is what you make of it!”From their quirky coffee cart at the ceremony to bubbles and sparklers during the formal photographs at Antrim Castle Gardens, not to mention their gorgeous, and incredibly well behaved pup (who quite frankly stole the show!), this will be a wedding I won’t soon forget.
